The Great Banquet

In a religious culture like the Bible Belt, it's easy to confuse simply being religious with actually having a relationship with Jesus. In today's parable of the banquet, Jesus helps the religious to understand who is actually in the Kingdom of God and who is not. He shows us that those who receive the Kingdom as top priority in their lives are the ones that are in. Those who have greater priorities and commitments are not. Being a true follower of Jesus will completely re-orient the priorities and commitments we have in our lives.
