Sanctified Student Ministry

Sanctify: to set apart as or declare holy; to consecrate.

In today's world, there are many voices telling students who they are, what their priorities should be, and where to find their own truth. Many of these voices go directly against what God has set forth in scripture. We believe that God's vision for this student ministry is to be Sanctified, or set apart. Our desire is to disciple students to become mature believers ready to live out their faith in all facets of everyday life even when the world stands opposed to what the Bible has to say.

God calls His people to:

BE SANCTIFIED through surrendering to Jesus as Lord and Savior for salvation.
LIVE SANCTIFIED through modeling a life after Jesus and not the world.
GROW SANCTIFIED through a personal relationship with God through His Word and in prayer.

The Vision

When praying about God’s vision for the student ministry, we felt like God led us to Jesus’ prayer for His disciples and for all believers. In John 17, Jesus prayed for believers right before He was arrested and then crucified. The two topics He prayed about were unity and sanctification, that those who believe in Him would be set apart from the rest of the world to the witness and glory of God. Christ didn’t ask that we be taken out of the brokenness and evil of the world, but that the Father protect us from the evil one as we strive to live set apart, sanctified. Our prayer for ourselves and for every student who comes through the door is that we learn to study the scripture and live it out so that we honor God, our Creator, and remain Sanctified as we stand on the Word of God as the only truth and direction for our lives.
