
Chris Clark
Senior Pastor
Chris was called into ministry while teaching high school and coaching baseball in the public school system in Oklahoma. At that time, he attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and earned a Masters of Divinity with a specialization in Pastoral Ministry. He has served in full time ministry in Oklahoma, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia. He wants most to see lives changed by Christ and to walk alongside believers as God grows them into more fully devoted followers of Him. Chris and his wife, Alisha, have two daughters, Katelyn and Evelyn , and two sons, Henry and Owen. He started at EFBC in Oct. of 2018 and is very excited about all that God has planned for our church and community.

Ken Bennett
Worship Pastor and Pastor of Senior Adults
Ken has served at Epworth FBC since 2018. He previously served churches in Georgia, Alabama and Texas. He holds graduate degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Debbie and they have two wonderful daughters: Katheryn and Jessica

Scott mathis
Youth Pastor
Scotty graduated with honors from Truett McConnell college with a degree in Christian Studies. He has served at Epworth as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and currently youth pastor. Scott is a native of Fannin county and has lived here his entire life.He and his wife, Amber, have three children Max, Owen, and Lucy.

Alisha Clark
Interim Children's Director
Alisha is currently serving as our interim children's ministry director. She has served in various capacities in the local church including children's, youth, worship and women's ministries. She received her BA in English from Northeastern State University. Her hope is to see lives changed by the Gospel and is honored to serve as the interim children's director. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, sewing, and being outdoors. Alisha and her husband, Chris, have four kids: Katelyn, Evelyn, Henry and Owen.

Jennifer Lewis
Secretary
Jennifer graduated from Fannin County High School and worked as a dental assistant and secretary for 15 years. Jennifer is a native of Fannin county and has lived here her entire life. She and husband, David, have one son Jefferson. They are both members of Damascus Baptist Church where they have taught as teachers in numerous capacities.
