Pursue Purity

There is a tendency among modern society and even the modern church to downplay the reality of sin and it's effects in our lives. It is becoming increasingly less popular to discuss the topic of sin, much less the severe nature of it's consequences. But Jesus had much to say about it. As we turn to his words in Mark 9 we are reminded not only that sin is real, but that if we aren't willing to face our sin now we will face the effects of it forever.
