Jesus wanted to ensure that his disciples knew their mission. In Acts 1 He devoted his final words to them to directing them in what they would do in their mission. They were to be witnesses to their neighbors and the nations. Like the early disciples, Jesus has given us the mission to be witnesses to Him, our Eternal Solution.
